I have posted my blog about the Great bittern ( Botaurus stelleris) on date 24 November 2017.

Through this blog, we have mentioned that the Great bittern was spotted by nature guide, Rachit Singh on 11 November, 2017 in Keoladeo National Park at Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. Authorities and sighting records suggested that it is one of the rare birds and sighted almost after 14-15 years back at Keoladeo National Park.

But later, on 20 November 2017, I got message from the guest, Mr. Navin kumar, who mentioned that he spotted the same bird,” Great bittern” in November 2016 also. He reported whole information with photograph. Therefore, we consider his report as first report that is a very significant from Keoladeo National Park! Many congratulations to Navin Kumar ji for recording it and sharing. Indeed great!
