Sawai Madhopur : July 20, 2016 | An auspicious Guru Purnima day was celebrated this year on Tuesday 19th July, 2016 at Ashram, Acharya Balram Krishna Maharaj, Sawai Madhopur. A special puja of Sri Radhe-Krishna was performed by Guru- Acharya, Shri Balram Krishna with his devotees. All devotees’, volunteers and others accompanied in the devotional singing of hymns and bhajans in the morning. After that, Guru-Acharya ,Shri Balram Krishna started to bless every one. The devotees had to wait for their turn in a queue due a great number of devotees. Almost 8,000 devotes got to success blessing from their Guru-Acharya on this auspicious Guru Purnima Day! The blessing process was continued most of time for whole day. Guru- Acharya welcomes everyone regardless of their socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity or religion. Guru- Acharya opens his heart to anyone in need regardless of their background, which makes him very unique.
About more than10, 000 devotees attended this celebration from morning to night and were given cooked fresh prasadi. The programme was open for all. It was really a grand celebration of Guru Purnima Day!
